This has probably been covered... Anyone know how to force a slab to eject a floppy? I stuck one in, it did not recognize it but it didn't eject it either. And it doesn't autoeject after a reboot like I for some reason thought they did...

Can you not use a straightened paperclip?

it doesn't have a paperclip hole. and I don't feel like taking my NeXT apart. again... I know that on some macs there is a key combination that forces the drive to try ejecting. Dunno if a NeXT has one.

If I remember correctly, there is a command in the rom monitor that lets you force eject an MO/CD, so there might be one for the floppy as well.

The last time I heard of someone using an eject command in the rom monitor, this (http://www.nextcomputers.org/forums/viewtopic.php?t=259) happened.
