Just wondering. As I recall, these were sturdy little SCSI CD drives that are now showing up on ebay for super cheap.

I'm not aware of a SCSI CD-ROM wich won't run on NeXT. I'm using Pioneer DVD drives, don't think that it make sense to add today a deadly slow drive. (with exception the original NeXT CD-ROM for black coolness :))

Yes, at least for the 300e I'm using.
yup the apple drives work fine
iirc, I'm using an Apple 600e on my mono station. I'll double check when I get home.
I've tested all my drives from Apple:
150 i/e
300 i/e
600 i/e
Even the CD SC (the first very bulky one with the caddy mechanism) works at least with my cube but not with the NeXtstation.

The Apple PowerCD works too ,and is a nice combination with the Cube ...
