Hi everybody,

I'm in trouble with installing OS 4.2. I must confess that install medium isn't original :(
The configuration: Non-Turbo mono slab, 32MB memory
Seagate Barracuda ST34572N
Sun 411 external SCSI case with Plextor PX-20TSi drive and Single Ended Active terminator

In Boot Monitor I typed

Result:

It happens three times then tries to boot from hdd but I've got almost the same result (the hdd's clean). At the end it waits for the hdd becoming ready ...

Sounds like an error in the SCSI chain termination...

Remember that both chains (internal and external) have to be terminated.

Unfortunately I'm not very familiar with SCSI stuff :(

The external case has an active terminator. How should I terminate the internal chain?
