Maybe a noob question, but here goes.... I did a search here and in the NeXT FAQ (
http://www.faqs.org/faqs/NeXT-FAQ/), but did not turn up any useful information about this subject.
Does anyone have a list of the comparable "special key" sequences for the ADB keyboards with a NeXTstation TurboColor? I've got The NeXT Book by Bruce Webster, but most of the special key sequences require either two Command keys (of which, I only have one large one) or keys that do not exist on my numeric keypad (e.g., "`" or "~").
For example, I would love to be able to get into and try out the ROM Monitor, if simply to eject a floppy disk that won't read; however, I cannot as I don't have the right key sequence to enter it. Or, I'd like to try to get into the NMI window. When I use Command + "~" I simply get a message asking whether I'd like to restart, power down or continue.
Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks!
I think it is Alt-Command-~ on the ADB keyboards. I dont have one in front of me to try, but I think that is what it is. My fingers just naturally go to it now, so cant remember exactly what it is.
