Nice serial number on the case and power supply. It has the early style case ventilation and NeXT labeled fan too. It'll be interesting to see if there's any Ebay sniper action at the end of the auction.

I am the person selling the chassis on eBay.
I got this with a load of other computer stuff, about 1/3 of it NeXT gear. I originally had this posted on eBay and somebody offered to buy it, so I cancelled. The $20 offer plus the other Cube going for $1400 made me think I could *maybe* get a little more.
I guess the gamble was worth it, as only ~24 hours in it's at $100 by a member here :)

That auction might not be legit. Either that or somebody has a really, really deep pocket.
I contacted the guy about that cube originally, and made him an offer. He told me what he was hoping to get, and I thought it was amazing how it jumped from $300 to $1400 so quick, with several "0" feedback buyers. Something smells of a shill-bidder to me. Hope not - but, that's what it appears like.... :(
Yeah - hard to tell on this one. Hopefully there's a satisfied buyer and seller in that case. :/
At least this one seems going well so far... what people will pay for some things :)

I don't quite know yet. What I do know of is a full Turbo Color slab machine (missing one cable, need that to test it out), at least a couple non-adb mice, another Cube chassis and some other cables and software. Still need to dig through the rest of what I have.
