I've just "un-retired" my NextStation TurboColor, after it's spent a large-ish number of years switched off. I measured the voltage on the backup battery expecting it to be completely dead, but it gave about 2.5V. I hooked it all up, then pressed Power and ... nothing happened. Last time I switched the station on years ago, it was working just fine and dandy. Any ideas?

buy a new battery, anyway my batteries are empty and it works well. the other point is how you connect the Y cabel. the I must be in the machine and the V to monitor and sounbox, if you understand me?

Brilliant. The Y cable was indeed the problem - I'd hooked up the monitor's end to the pizza box and vice versa. Serves me right for not RTFM. Thanks! Incidentally, the date on the computer was August 2000, so it must have been decomissioned for just over 7 years!
