A couple of [quick] suggestions:
1. Make sure that all of your cables have no bent or broken pins and are plugged in securely.
2. Enter the ROM monitor after you get the 'test failed' message [hold down both the command keys / and the tilde key]. When you get there - type the letter p ... and make sure that show verbose boot is yes. Also try changing the SCSI tests to no [if it's set at yes]. Then power down - and restart.

Going to buy scsi hard drive of net, in meantime how do I revert screen out of rom? .....P....or should I wait until I get new hard drive?
