It sold for $510.00
Which sucks, because I sold my complete '040 Cube system with a load of paperwork and CDs for around that much. And I spent days fully dismantling every component, including the keyboard, to thoroughly clean it all with cleaning solutions. Even down to the power supply.
*Grumbles*
I miss that system...
Jeez
I did well then, a few months ago I got the following for 555 pounds (about a grand US)
NeXTcube 040 with Turbo & 25mhz 040 boards (all in mint condition)
2 NeXT Dimensions (PAL) both with 64mb ram
2 NeXT external CD ROMS
Ext SCSI FD drive
2 Non ADB KB's & Mice, 1 Soundbox
Loads of NeXT software inc OS 4.2 & NS 3.3, some Japanease NeXT SW
Loads of NeXT books & manuals, some 3rd party books as well
Most of the Lighthouse design SW
One NeXT color printer (broke but I think I might be able to fix it)
N2000 NeXT laser
1 X 21" NeXT/Hitachi Megapixel.
I could go on, I got it off eBay UK BIN. At the time I wondered if I'd paid over the odds, obviously I didn't!
I'm looking for an 030 cube so I can make another 25mhz ND cube to sell on (to a good home)
How come that 030 cube went for so much? Is it because of the tray loading cd rom drive in it or maybe somehting else?
Kind of bizarre. I wonder how much my 030 cube which still has the interna NeXT asset tag would fetch? :)
