Does anybody know what happened to BlackHole.
Their web site is still up, but all email gets bounced and they do not answer the phone.
They do still accept money on eBay, but never send anything out (I ordered a set of OpenStep CDs from them, but never received anything).
Are there any other Next / OpenStep vendors out there?
BlackHole is a very shady place now.
I also want to know what happened.
My only advice would be to not give up hope. I have not dealt with Blackhole at all but it has been around a long time and lets face it it must be a slow business at this point.
Now on his website he says he is a caddy this year on the PGA Tour. So...

Well good for him, and that certainly could explain his absence, but he may want to consider posting something on his ebay store about this. Where exactly did you see this info, somewhere on blackholeinc.com?

It looks like Rob has closed shop, at least on eBay. His eBay store is gone and he doesn't appear to be a registered user anymore.

Well this is it.
Just look at his last transactions. All of them are bad so I guess ebay intervened and pulled the plug on him.
I noticed that his Ebay store was gone too. :shock:
Nope, he's still around (just got off the phone with him). We manufacture semiconductor products that still use NeXT 3.3 and we purchase our licenses from him. I can't speak to his ebay presence but if you need to get ahold of him:
