This is the first time booting my 040 cube in... years. I've had this problem in the past, but for the life of me I can't remember how to either cancel the process or boot in single user mode.
I've got a working optical, and original disks somewhere, but if I remember correctly I shouldn't need them.
It has something to do with breaking the boot process and booting with a flag... I think...
Help! :-).
PS: first time here, sure was glad to find the site. Sure was a pain in the butt getting past that stupid image verification thing though.
tried hitting control+c when it gives you that message?

wait, is it even booting off the hard drive before giving you that message.. or?
