NeXTstation Color 16 Hz prototype???

Is that really a prototype version? Never heard of these before:

That's just a 25mhz color station.

They even give you the CPU serial which is XC68040RC25B.

Unless of course, it's an early run chip that's clocked at 16mhz for some unknown reason.
