I bought one of these things today for $2 and from what I hear you just install it onto an ImageWriter printer and it supposedly gave you a scanner.
It sounds like something cool to use with my Mac 512k but:
a) Where would I find the software?
b) How common are the older ImageWriter printers?
EDIT: Wait a sec.
The adapter that plugs into the mac not only has a pass-through connection for the floppy drive but a mini-DIN serial connectior as well.
Um... am I missing something like a miniDIN to DB9 adapter?
