I wasn't quite sure where to put this, but has anyone used a DVD-RAM drive with black hardware? And could it write to DVD-RAM disks?

I have four DVD-RAM cartridges however I have never seen the actual drive so I have no idea weather they have a scsi interface or not.

I have a scsi ram drive. It's a Creative RAM1216S. Will it work?

it should - it should behave similar to a jaz or zip drive.  Most are scsi - IDE didn't support the command queing and control until the ATA specification.

Be prepared to play disktab games! (not saying it's a certainty..)
