I would like to boot live gnome cd. Working with NextStation Color and have
Lucie cdrw dvd extenal ready to go. How do I boot from cd so I can run gimp and abiword in gnome os.
There is a gnome m68k live cd?
I'd imagine on a 25Mhz machine it'd be insanely slow.....
Heck, I have 40MB of ram, and I'd hate to think about running linux on that!
Use linux applications remotely: CubX on NeXT and export display on Linux.
you've got to be joking? gnome on something like a NeXT? I don't think that even exists, and if it did, it'd run like garbage.
*edit* btw, Gnome is not an OS. It's just a Desktop Environment.

Buy a cheap-o PC and use that instead. There's no Linux LiveCD capable of running what you're describing on NeXT hardware.
Sad, but true.
