Just in case anyone is interested.. the RAM from an old SGI indy (R4600) works just fine in a color turbo :) Now rockin' 128MB in the turbo! 8)
The indys used 72 pin simms also, but with parity. (they could not use non parity AFAIK)
I thought that as well, because I have a lot of spare 32MB kits (kit=4 modules).
Unfortunately these modules are double-sided, so the don't fit into my non-turbo. :?
