Found some spoftware but I don't know how to set it up

Okay, I managed to find a backup copy of some wonderful NeXT software (from "places" that I can't say :wink: ) however it all seems to be divided into three different directories. Library, Local Library and Local Apps.
Since I don't exactly know yet wher NS 3.3 stores it's apps, do I just copy the contents of each folder to their corresponding folder in NeXTStep?

Yes, just copy them other to their respective directories. It always worked for me so far.
