hey guys.. i did a quick search and couldn't pull anything so here i am.
i'm trying to find a QUIET replacement fan for a NeXTcube. they're obviously a 120x40 or so, but the trick seems to be in the power. does anyone have a pointer to drop in replacement? thanks!
The fan is pretty quiet as-is. :?

Drop in will be extremely difficult. I called the manufacturer up and the NeXT part was, of course, a special with unique mounting and power requirements. One solution may be to identify something that would be basically suitable (power, connector, noise) and then draw up an adapter plate to mount it in the cube using a service like emachineshop or similar to run it off as needed.
