Floppy drive exchange Cube / Station?

Title: Floppy drive exchange Cube / Station?

Just before unscrewing my Cube I would like to ask, if a NeXTstation's floppy drive can be used within a NeXTcube. May sound a bit like a dumb question but as long as I never thought about it before I want to profit from others knowledge before in here. So can it be done?

The floppy drive in a slab work perfectly fine in a cube.
