Picked up a package deal on a Sun Ultra 20 and 24in monitor, but need some help getting it all sorted out. It came with a bare drive, so I installed the latest solaris 10 version on it. Everything seems to be working, except for I can not get it to use the full resolution of the monitor. The system has an Nvidia nvs 285 PCIe card, which supports the panels 1920x1200 resolution, but I can not pick that option in the nvidia setup app in solaris. The highest it allows me to select is 1600x1200. I went and dl the latest drivers from Sun and upgraded to the latest nvidia one available, with no luck. Just to confirm the card can drive the monitor, I installed Win7 64bit, and it configured it with the full resolution. I am going to install OpenSolaris on it next, as I need to get myself more familiar with Solaris again, but would really like to get this working in Solaris 10.
I know we have a couple of Solaris users in here, so I figured I would ask, seeing as google was not giving me any useful information.
Any thoughts?

EDIT*
Installed OpenSolaris but it behaves the same as Solaris, no 1920x1200.
am updating to .101 to see if that changes things.
There is some 'rumor' as it were that the 64bit open solaris will run sparc binaries.. like OpenSTEP& MOL... can you verify that? there certainly wasn't anything 'transitive' on the 32bit install I have.. :|
