Hello all. While reading articles on fabricating NeXT-to-VGA adaptors, I couldn't help but realize that Apple external floppy drives use the DB-19 cable. This includes AFAIK all Apple 3.5" drives and all Apple 5.25" drives except for the original Disk ][ drives. The Apple DuoDisk drive has a DB-19 to DB-25 cable. Just thought I'd throw this out there as Apple II drives are relatively easy to find. Here's a
link (
http://www.nextcomputers.org/forums/viewtopic.php?t=1912) to an adapter I made using an old drive cable.
I still have a few (13 female) unsoldered connectors around, and even a few caps, but only 2 males. they are located in Amsterdam, The Netherlands.
mail me if you want some
You found some parts here :

But it's good that there still is a source as long as it last. i had the same idea about making my own cables, but never had the time to do it properly...

We wait anxiously :-)
Is it an european source?
I've tried to get the DB19 connectors from stores in USA but I haven't found any that ships internationally :-(
In any case, please, can be someone so gentle to take some of these adapters and ship them to me? :D
thanks :-)
