I am wrapping up my X68K mod (should be finished and posting the end results in the next couple weeks). I have found inspirartion for my next mod, the Thinking Machine CM-2 connection machine:

It will be a cube about one cubic foot in size (the size of a NeXT cube), and I am debating whether to make it a desktop PC, or to embed 8 mini-itx system boards to embody the sheer power of the original Cray connection machine. My only concern with making a mini-cluster is... what will I do with it?! (my only thought is a video rendering system, as I encode a lot of 1080P home videos).
FYI, Cray did not make these systems. It was Thinking Machines (
