Hm, you know what? I haven't opened it.  But now that I think about it, the previous owner mentioned the machine was upgraded to a 68040, so I'd bet it's the old 68030 board.  I'll have to take a look later.

God damn that is a beautiful setup.  I don't want to imagine how much that cost but if all of that stuff works it might have been worth it - that looks museum quality.

It is quite pretty.

As for the mystery box on top of the pile, it turned out to just be an OS update (2.1, I believe, which the cube currently seems to be running.)  I got the system on the network yesterday, interesting setup.  As NeXTStep 3.3 seems to be present in the pile of stuff, maybe I'll give upgrading a shot.

Bunch of other software and stuff to go through, but so far I'm having fun.
