Hey all,
      I'm not a big Twitter fan, but I had a request if it was possible to get a cli twitter client working on the NeXT. :-)  So,  if you're interested, it does work.  Grab a copy of TTYtter from:

http://www.floodgap.com/software/ttytter/

my ~/.ttyttrc looks like this:
-bash-2.05b$ more .ttytterrc
user=kb7sqi:PASSWORD
seven=1
ssl=1
lynx=1
vcheck=1
ansi=1
-bash-2.05b$

You need perl & lynx installed.  Just edit the ttytter script to look for the version of perl you're using.  Other than that, read the docs.  It's pretty simple/painless to use.  So anyone interested in starting a NeXT "Twitter" group? ;-)  Take care.  Here's a pic

There is a utility called Twirrsi that is an irssi-based front-end to twitter that is maintained by my friend Zidgon - if irssi compiles cleanly on NS/OS so might that

If I remember correctly, it's been a while, but I don't think irssi compiles clean.  I'd have to take a look at it again, but TTYtter, works fine.  I've used it on my NeXT systems & on Solaris.  It only takes a few minutes to configure & get running. :-)  I just thought others might like to know if they "twitter," they could do it on the NeXT if they really wanted to.  Take care.
