There is a Pyro card on eBay:
http://cgi.ebay.com/XXXRare-PYRO-Accelerator-Card-NeXT-NeXTstation-Computer_W0QQitemZ300303488943QQihZ020QQcategoryZ51046QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItemIt's already past $350.
Any bets on the final price?
Does anyone have a copy of the schematic for the Pyro Card? I would love to try and reverse engineer it.
yeah, it belongs to that guy that posted a few days ago here.
It is now at $394... I can't believe people are bidding this early on it. No one seems to know how to use eBay. Bidding so far in advance is just dumb.

And yet bidding in the last ten seconds makes you an a#%hole.
the crazy thing is its AS IS!!?!! Who knows if it works, I would hate to be the winning bidder and find out is DOA.
Helf,
I love my color station, but I am neither rich nor insane. So I'll sit on the sidelines on this one. Maybe someday I'll luck out and find one, but I'd probably end up selling it or trading it for a Dimension Cube if they're that valuable. But I think in the grand scheme of things my chances of stumbling onto a chest full of Spanish Doubloons is probably greater.

I hope not, since that is what I do ;)
Well, who won? My last offer was 800 $...
Good GOD. $1046 for an AS IS component???? Damn.
Whoever won, I hope he didn't just buy an expensive paperweight.
Who wants to buy a guaranteed working one for $1500 then :D
lol.gimme a few months ;P
Excuse my language but holy shit.

Interesting thought, doesn't look like the person who bought it was a one hit wonder and looks to be a collector or maybe speculator.
Hey more power to them if they have the $$$ though I hope it isn't a sign of speculators hitting the market and bidding up prices on everything.
They do this periodically. You will suddenly see machines that previously sold for $2-300 suddenly sell for 5-700 or more.
"oo, this is a collectors item, I'll buy it and sit on it and then try to make a profit." ... annoys me :P
whatever, hope they are going to actually use it :)
Not to doubt the seller's honesty, but if something doesn't work, he could always say he was unable to test it and deny that he knew it didn't work. Just my 2 cents. It's never happened to me, but I've only bought things from people I know from this forum.
