Good God, somebody's been warehousing a significant percentage of NeXT's production.  I just can't see anyone trying to buy into the business Ron's trying to sell out of.  A Tontine perhaps?

I'm asking the same. I would really like just an ND board.

Ditto here.  Have been thinking of acquiring an ND board.

Is there a chance of a group-buy of Turbo Cubes and NDs (oh and I want a Soundbox too)?

That would make a dent on this warehouse and perhaps lower the entry price for the person who ultimately takes the remaining items.

...but the remaining stuff is straight mainstream with no worth. Someone with a lot of time can sell the stations on eBay with a lot of pictures and hope to eran some decent dollars, but for a "bundle" seller it makes no sense.
F.e. Rob have selled next mono slabs on eBay for ~$10 and only a few people have bidden.

Rob can only calculate: what is the worth of the gems in this collection, like the turbo cubes, dimenson, and the rest is for free.

All the NeXT has tentatively been sold.

Quote from: "sdinet"has anyone heard back from Ron?  I PMd him and no response..  It's weird, he posted this ad then has been absent since.

I follow this forum. I did not receive a single email regarding this posting.

Quote from: "sdinet"Also, if he has such a huge collection, why does he only sell 1 keyboard/mouse/cable every month or so.

It is my NeXT equipment and not yours. I sell the NeXT items when I want to and to whom I want.

Quote from: "sdinet"Also, I have asked him for parts before, and he will say he is out of stock, but according to this post he seems to have more then enough.

And so it goes.  This is not the complaint department. I have always followed through with my eBay listings and have never backed out of selling to the high bidder.

Quote from: "sdinet"Also, I guess he offered to sell his collection to Rob from Backhole, then bailed on him.  Ron seems like a reputable guy, not sure whats up with this post, yet no follow up.

This is non of your business. You do not know what you are talking about. I NEVER agreed to sell the items to Rob.  We talked a few years ago and he offered me such a low offer for all and I told him NO.

Who in their right mind was able to buy all of it?

hey Ron, sorry about my posts, I didn't realize how they came across.  It appears you have a great reputation.

What did you get offered, I might be able to match it or beat it.

Hello Ron: If this is really you , why wouldn't you drop me an email or call ? This sounds like an Urban legend spawned by a mischievous newby. From the post ; you really just joined this forum seriously to uload everything at once? As I once was told a guy had the original NeXT Corporate sign 24 foot tall and all also had a description of how to upgrade the board to work with a PPC chip , who knows may be it is all true at any rate keep the dream alive , now if only we could find the old molds and original assembly line equipment who's with me he he he,
The worst was finding out many years back 800 cubes went to a landfill back east somewhere If only I knew I can operate  a backhoe.
Where are the photos of all of this stuff please before it all gets shipped so I can do a Charlie Brown aaaaargh.  Peace out Rob

Be careful with the backhoe though, you might unleash the thousands of E.T. cartridges Atari was rumoured to have dumped!
