Saw this on eBay, http://cgi.ebay.com/Vintage-Sun-SPARCStation-20-NeXTStep-3-3-NeXT_W0QQitemZ220544482534QQihZ012QQcategoryZ4193QQcmdZViewItemQQ_trksidZp3286.m7QQ_trkparmsZalgo%3DLVI%26itu%3DUCI%26otn%3D1%26ps%3D63

It's possible to do? I happen to have a Sparkstation 20 I rescued from the dumpster a while ago...

Maybe I'm missing something here... are you asking if you can run NEXTSTEP 3.3 on a SPARCstation? We have a whole section of the forum devoted to running NEXTSTEP & OPENSTEP on Sun and HP hardware with the best guide (here (http://www.nextcomputers.org/forums/viewtopic.php?t=172) and here (http://www.nextcomputers.org/forums/viewtopic.php?t=178)) for setting up such a system. The SPARCstation 20 is on the list of supported systems (here (http://www.shawcomputing.net/resources/next/hardware/nsos_sparc_compatibility/ns-os_sparc_compatibili.html)), if the question was if that particular system was supported.

But if you have Sun hardware and are a fan of NeXT, it is hard to imagine that you haven't at least ventured into the Sun / HPPA Hardware section (http://www.nextcomputers.org/forums/viewforum.php?f=11).

Yeah I missed it. I usually just blip in hit the Lounge and the Mac forum and blip out.

I stumbled upon some Sun hardware that was being recycled the other day and put it into the collection without giving it another thought.

Was trolling for NeXT HW on eBay and stumbled upon that ad and wondered.

Will have to dig out the Irix video adaptors and see if it will work with a more modern LCD screen then. Guess I better revisit the pile before it's gone if it isn't already as I recall seeing a dozen or so other Sun boxes.
