I work for a small research lab and inherited (via the dumpster) a NeXT slab a couple of years back.
I have the slab, monitor (in box), keyboard, mouse, manuals. However, I am lacking the monitor cable. I could probably whip one up... but I can't find the pinout for the 25 (15? - buried too deep in closet to count accurately) pin cable... just the 13W3.
It is yours for free provided 2 things:
1. You promise to use it. I am giving it up because I am not going to get around to doing anything with it... I don't want its fate to remain the same!
2. You can - in my presence - wipe the hard drive. Alternatively, if you don't need the hard disk, then I can keep it. It likely has proprietary - albeit old - info on it and I can't in good faith to my employers let it go.
Well, given the stunning response to this post, I guess I should re-phrase.
Howabout, the computer is yours, I'll keep the HD...
Alternatively, if someone shows up with a video cable, so I can check the drive myself....
Also, I will ship, but we'll have to work out the details.
I may be interested in your system. I'm in Florida though. Let me know if you still have it and we can work something out.
