Are there any known apps that are built for Black hardware that will not function if you upgrade your cube/slab to OpenStep for Mach?

I'm specifically wondering if Improv will work under 4.2 but I'd be interested to hear about other apps too.

I can confirm that Improv works under 4.2.

As far as I recall, I didn't have any Apps that worked in 3.3 that did not work in 4.2.

I don't believe so, my copy was acquired before NeXT started porting anything to Intel hardware.

A quick port of Improv to NEXTSTEP Intel was made, but unfortunately never shipped.

Heh, I wonder if Bob still has a copy. :)

NS 3.3 binaries were fully compatible with Openstep 4.2 PR2 [the last release later reclassified as FCS].

As what has been said, all NS3.3 binaries should just work.
