Any information or advice for setting up an IMAP account for use with NeXT Mail?

I think PopOver supports it... but I've never tried it myself.

Figured since I was updating the threads about gmail/fetchmail/msmtp I'd go ahead & add some info here.  If you look @ the thread's about setting up fetchmail/msmtp/stunnel for pop3, smtp, it'll work the exact same way for IMAP.  basically you just change your settings.  My work requires me to use IMAP &  SSL.  It's even easier if you're running OPENSTEP 4.2 & using the PopOver 2.0 mail client because it pull your messages down locally unless you choose for it to.  You can just connect to your imap server via stunnel like you would w/ a "normal" client.   If you want to make it all automatic, you can do so w/ fetchmail also.   fetchmail/msmtp/stunnel should take care of all your mail needs using the stock email client or you can use Pine-4.64 that has been compiled w/ ssl support.    Hope that helps.

Steve.
