I know most have a rightful aversion to using X11 on next, but in this case is may be worth it. I started playing aorund with building fltk so I could in turn build dillo, and it gets very far into the build but fails due to inadequacies in the native gcc-2-7.
I am going to build gcc 2.95.3 and hopefully get this working. It should be a much more usable experience than omniweb, but far less pretty. :(
Ideas, opinions?

fltk and Dillo are using some c++ code so it maybe difficult, test are necessary.
According to the website we should be able to build at least Dillo 0.8.
My choice was to use a Linux server that run Arora, a lightweight Qt/WebKit browser, and export display to the NeXTstation. It's a bypass, but it's difficult to think to another way. And Dillo has the capabilities that already has OmniWeb.
Any new updates on how this is going? Would be cool to have another web option.
What would DILLO give us over Omniweb? I see Dillo is up to version 2 now.

Sadly I posted before I thought... dillo2 should get us speed and more usability, that is if you can compile dillo and fltk. Sadly namespaces are broken in the version of gcc that comes with nextstep/openstep. That means its pretty much out tof the realm of possibility.
