Hi all,
I have an error that occurs on my PC running Nextstep. It happens when I am copying and duplicating some files. A pop-up window shows "Internal Error 10000000" and then asks if you want to continue at your own risk or reboot. After it comes up I continue but I can no longer copy any files so I end up having to reboot. This has happened 3 or 4 times over the last few days. Does anyone have any idea what causes it and what I can do to resolve it?
Does it concern NEXTSTEP partition only, or between NEXTSTEP and DOS partitions ?
This is only on Nextstep partition. The whole drive is Nextstep.
is the partition greater then 2GB? NeXTSTEP is a 4.3 BSD derived OS, and back then the largest disks they could support because of a signed integer is 2GB....
The drive is split into 7 partitions. The primary partition on which Nextstep is loaded is 2 Gb. The other partitions are 1Gb and were created by the Nextstep installation. I can use these other partitions as storage for files I don't want on my main partition. In this case the files were being copied within the main partition in preparation to copy to a floppy disk. Nothing that should be an issue. I assumed that because the error had a code someone would know what it meant but I guess that isn't the case!

I'm assuming the nextstep partition is first on the disk??
All partitions are Nextstep
officially NS only supports one partition.
