As some of you are probably aware a NeXT emulator is one of the projects available in this years GSoC - hopefully someone will take it on.
I'd like to request that those amongst us who have been working on any emulation projects or who even just done some rudimentary research aught to post any code or documentation somewhere on this site, perhaps as responses to this thread so that we can help this very important project along as much as we can.

Hm, it seems that project didn't make it onto the list of the (1023, whow!) accepted projects at

That is indeed a shame.
In any case I have noticed over time that there have been a few people on here that have been working on NeXT emulation projects but I expect that they have stalled.
So regardless of GSoC I'd like to renew the request for everyone to add any useful info that they can here.
I'm willing to spend some time on this but it would be nice to know what progress has been made by others and to build upon that rather than starting from scratch and probably also stalling.
From what I've read on this board at least two people, giles and cuby, have been working towards some kind of emulation solution. Would either of you care to comment on the status of your projects?
