OK, just upgraded my system from NeXTSTEP 3.3 to OPENSTEP 4.2. Some things that were working fine have stopped. One of them being POPOVER 1.6 to receive emails and transfer them to my NeXT's stock mail.app. It appears not to work anymore so I tried and installed POPOVER 2.0 and I finally got it to work but what I don't like about it, I see not way for it to send the emails to my NeXT's stock Mail.app as that is the mailer I prefer. After-all, LipService is cool.
So, now that I am on OPENSTEP, what application do I need to receive POP3 based emails with NeXT's Mail.app?
Sending is fine as the MSMTP setup and install I received from kb7sqi still works fine. Just PopOver 1.6 stopped working and unless someone knows a way for PopOver 2.0 to send the emails to NeXT's Mail.app, I need a new solution.
I could have switched to PopOver 2.0 but it only is receiving my emails and will not let me send them. hehehe

As I posted in the other thread, I'll send you an email w/ fetcmail l8r tonight after work, but one thing. PopOver 1.6 should still work just fine on OPENSTEP 4.2. I used it for years & I actually prefer to run OPENSTEP 4.2 over NEXTSTEP 3.3 even on m68k systems, simply because there's some newer software that require it. The only system I dedicate to NEXTSTEP 3.3 is my HP Geck 712/100 because that's the last version officially supported on it. I'd suspect you might want to make sure sendmail is working properly. But if PopOver 2.0 is work, 1.6 should as well for "fetching" mail. Did you test the cli version of PopOver that comes w/ 1.6 & give it a shot? Take care.
