Hi me210055,
First off, I welcome to the forums.  Second thing,  we're a small community, but trying to DEMAND something isn't the way to get help here.  If you paid any attention to the link Shuren posted about DHCP on his blog you'd see there was a link for :

/n/unix/dhcp-2.0pl1.N.b.tar.gz

the N.b. MEANING it is for a NeXT system, aka m68k hardware, not I for x86 hardware.  or H for hppa, or S, for Sparc.  The b meaning it's a BINARY package.  If you downloaded that package & followed the instructions you'd have dhcp setup & running now.

Now, a quick SEARCH usage here on the forums, would've landed you the link to the archives the forums provide and you would've found a version of dhcp there as well:

http://www.nextcomputers.org/NeXTfiles/Software/OPENSTEP/Apps/Internet/Misc/

When you get the package loaded on your NeXT system, make sure you follow the dhcp Config doc to the T.  If you don't you'll have problems.  Just giving you a heads up.    If this is your first time using NEXTSTEP/OPENSTEP, I'm going to warn you, the smartest thing you could do is put your system behind a router that's connected to the internet w/ a firewall.  Even after spending hours updating software on your system, unless you know what you're doing, you're just asking for someone to hack your old NeXT or use it to do mass spamming via sendmail.  I've spent countless hours compiling stuff on my systems, updating most of the daemons, etc and I still wouldn't put a system on the wide open net.     Just something to think about.  If you run into problems let us know.  We'll be happy to try to help, just next time try using a bit more patience and maybe try a search in the forums first.  Enjoy your NeXT! Take care.

Steve.
