Hi Everyone
I have for sale SVGA/VGA Y-Cables as a replacement for Mono Slabs and Cubes. I am making them to order so as to replace the rapidly aging mono monitors.
I made a few of these and decided to fork out on a job lot of DB19 connectors so as to build them in bulk.
These are £50 each including shipping to anywhere in the world. No reasonable offers refused and can discount if you buy more than one.
I myself have 2 Cubes which are using this same cable. I will ship anywhere in the world inclusive of the cost per cable. If you want more than one cable, PM me and I will do a better rate.
To clarify, this cable allows you to replace your NeXT mono monitor with a compatible LCD or CRT screen (must support NeXT refresh rates/resolution/sync on green). A lot of Eizo and Dell monitors support this. The cable has a DB19 on one end (to connect to a mono cube or station, with one DB19 going to a soundbox and a 15 pin DSUB connection to an SVGA monitor.
Interested? - let me know. I am in the UK and Paypal is preferred - but can accept credit cards.
cheers
bump - I still have about 10-15 of these cables left if anyone wants to buy one...
hi, do you have a soundbox as well?
I've got 3 but you may have to prize them out of my cold dead hands!!!
sorry, never mind. I wish nice holidays. Best Frank
Any more cables?
I'd actually like one of these as well.
Sent you a PM, hope you still have a cable left!
me too interested, please let us know how many cable are left. :-)
You can have these made... I ordered some a while ago and they ended up costing about $50 each... might be a bit more expensive now.
Hello NeXT community: I have 10 of these cables in stock for $65 and $10 shipping
They work with mono slabs and cubes with model 983 power supplies.
Best regards Rob
Thanks Rob, sent you a PM. I'll take one.
Big thanks to Rob @ BlackHole for the cable; I finally got all the parts in and everything worked right the first time! Monitor is a NEC Multisync 1855NX that I picked up off eBay for around $50. I centered the display a while after I took the picture. I had the mousepad custom made by ArtsCow - $21 for three of them.
Cool Mouse pad! I'm suprised the image does not auto adjust and fill out the screen. Best regards Rob Blessin
