My slab will no longer respond to the power button on the keyboard (ADB).
I can startup and shutdown by using a resistor across the relevant pins on the connector that goes from the slab to the soundbox and _everything_ else works fine just not the power button.
Has anyone else had this happen to them?
Is it easily fixed?

If you can do that, it's just the key or the cable. The power switch (adb or non-adb) uses a reserved wire that's shorted to ground on pressing. Easy to isolate the fault but I'm not certain how easy it is to open the switch body on the keyboard if the fault is there.

NeXT hardware is very hard to come by in my country.

I've successfully used Apple ADB keyboards with my NeXT Turbo Color slab.
