I bought the contents of a university NeXT lab around ten years ago - I've sold a few since, and seem to have picked up a couple of Dimension cubes, but I still have most of it. But the time has come to have a bit of a clearout - it's been in storage for a decade, so I'm still checking over the inventory, but what I've got is roughly
4 Dimension cubes
3 040 cubes
1 030 cubes
6 Megapixel monitors (were dim but usable when stored)
5 Colour 17" monitors
1 21" monitor
6 NeXT laser printers
1 A3 inkjet
9 assorted NeXTstations
1 Canon ObjectStation with 21" monitor
Plus assorted NeXT software, manuals, some wrapped optical disks and some external audio boxes.
I'm just beginning to check it over, and am at the 'fun with SCSI termination' stage of building new drives for them all. Obviously I'm short of mono monitors, so am aiming to sell on the Dimension cubes or boards and the 040 systems first - happy to ship internationally, but shipping for the monitors is (1) risky, and (2) expensive - I'd strongly suggest sourcing a monitor locally or running headless on the mono side if you're not in the UK. Some of the Dimension and 040 systems are in good condition, the rest are in 'from a computer lab' grade.
Open to offers/enquiries - I've got a lot of useful information off these forums over the years, and would like to avoid taking them to eBay if I can: typing 'yes, I'm sure you can't run Vista on it' began to pall after a while...

Oh wow. Ok in that case, a dimension board and a colour monitor take my fancy - I live in Northern Ireland. Might also be interested in a mouse - I don't have a NeXT mouse :)
PM me if you like, I'm also interested in the lasers (a laser) perhaps - but don't want to amount too much on shipping costs.
Just a quick update - I've had quite a few expressions of interest, but also quite a few people asking for pricing. It's probably three years since I last sold a NeXT, and I've not kept up with what they sell for: if I get offers here, I'd prefer to sell here, otherwise I'll probably sell a system (and the Dimensions seem most popular) on eBay to get a benchmark, then re-offer what's left for each system type here. I'm very happy for people to just express interest, and I'll get a representative system set up and photographed, but approximate offers subject to condition will probably jump that queue. I realise this isn't ideal, but I've got two racks of NeXT gear, and only a limited amount of free time to sell some of it before the end of the year.

I'm pretty sure I can throw in a mouse with a dimension board - NI is not too pricy for big stuff as long as you don't mind DHL - I'd guess I could ship a printer by sea for £20.
I would be interested in one of the soundboxes in case their are non ADB. I live in Germany. PM me in case you are interested.
If you have the mounting brackets, screws and cable for mounting a floppy disk in a cube - that's what I currently need the most.
Of course if you had a spare turbo main board for a cube ...
Hi,
I'd be interested in a good 040 cube, and
1 or 2 of the laser printers, if they come
w/ the input-output trays and the cables.
Possibly a slab (though I have 2 of those in good order).
Shipping: 2 options -- where are you in the UK?
I have family near Oxford.
Otherwise, I am happy to figure out a mutually agreeable
path --- like T-Berners-Lee here at MIT, I still run NeXT OS,
still *the best* OS, IMHO...
Best regards
Apologies to all for the slow reply - work took over for a few weeks and all I've been able to do is remind myself how annoying SCSI termination can be...
On the questions in this thread, I'm in London, but have enough friends in Oxford that I'll happily deliver there! Floppy mount and cables - probably, as I had one cube chassis broken by a courier, so that's just for parts at the moment. I'm expecting to have ADB and non-ADB soundboxes, keyboards and mice left at the end, at the moment.

What state is the broken cube in - is the external case OK, or is it a complete jigsaw? Would potentially be interested in that.
