Prefer only sale to USA or Canada locations. May consider otherwise in certain situations.  I have a running BeBox Dual 133MHz from the 1990s and if you know these, they don't come up for sale very often.  I own 2 and decided to sell the ugly one.    Still, it is a running BeBox and dual 133MHz and there are just not many BeBoxes left that come up for sale so they still fetch a good sum.  Will sell this one for $999 + shipping.  May consider for partial trade + cash for it.  Partial trades would need to be NeXT, Atari, or Amiga goods.

I have some pictures attached to this email at the end.  Anyway, see what you think.

Here is the scoop on this BeBox.....

One of the top removable bezel pieces has broken feet so it does not fit snuggly in the holes on the top of the bezel to hold it on.  The piece was saved since someone could easily epozy a small nubbin on it that is the size of the holes on the BeBox so it fits back in.  So, that is #1 ugliness.  #2 is the off looking grill on the left side as seen in one of the pics.  Just looks like a manufacturer defect to me.  They are not broken ribs but a couple ribs have a angle to them and not flush with the case as the rest are.  Not a big deal for most people but I mention all issues to buyer knows.  #3 ugliness, a few scratches on the metal blue case. Overall not too bad but a little touchup would be nice.  #4 ugliness, one of the generic rubber feet on the bottom is missing so the case leans.  Either remove the other 3 or buy a generic rubber foot from Radio Shack and fix it.  #5 and final that I see, the previous owner removed the power button from rear and placed it on one of the removable front bezel pieces for easy access.  It works fine but case does not close all the way with button on front so I leave the two rear screws off for now and the case slide forward a tad.  Could probably play with the switch a little so the case does not bump it and then the case shut all the way but I don't have time to tinker.  So, it will ship this way for new owner to tinker with.  So, I planned to put the switch back in the rear where it belongs and the put a Be sticker over the small hole on the bezel piece.  I have a baggie where I have the top little bezzle piece and the 2 screws that hold the lid locked in the back so it would ship complete ready to boot.

So, she is ugly but runs and can send proof of that as it boots and runs via video if needed.  It will have no warranty or guarantee since this is vintage system but I will show proof it boots in a new video so you can feel good about the purchase.  Just be aware again once it ships, I can't guarantee or warranty the BeBox once it ships.  I do though have a nice box with foam to cocoon the BeBox for safe shipment and will insurance it for full price that is paid.

Email me if you have interest or any questions.

I take it you did not read my ad.  hehehehe.

Asking $999 + shipping.  Of course like I said, I am also willing to do part cash part trade if you have NeXT items I need or Atari or Amiga.  8-)

Items I am looking for are the NeXT Mono Monitor for a Cube but the model with ADB Port so I can run 3 displays on my Cube and still have my ADB Keyboard and mouse in action.  Right now I use two 21" displays with the Soundbox but that means I have to use the older NeXT non adb keyboard, drat!  Also interested in the Sony branded NeXT 17" Color Monitor for my NeXTstation Turbo Color.  8-).  Of course other stuff is always interesting but I do own a number of things already.

Placed on eBay just moments ago since I figured a NeXT web site is not the best place to had BeBox but did it because I figured a few of you are like me and have other platforms.

Not sure if this is in your ballpark but if you have watched eBay, you know how much these sell for.   8)

Here is my eBay auction with a Buy It Now.

I will still deal here direct if I strike a deal here and I have no offers on eBay.  I do have Make Offer also on eBay but not really much lower than I posted it for just as an FYI but a little anyway.

Wow - good for you you got your price so quickly...

I have 66Mhz BeBox, and while it's not as desirable as the 133, it's nice to know I have a little 'insurance' down the basement if I need to raise some cash  :)

If anyone else has BeBox parts, mine is missing one of the translucent covers for the blinky lights on the front of the case.

BeBox 66MHZ normally get just a little under $1K and dual 133MHz normally between $1000 and $1500 that I see.

Figure this, less than 2000 made and only like 800 are dual 133s so with limited out there, those into Be gobble them up.

I compare them to NeXTdimension systems that still sell between $1K and $1.5K so to me not strange at all.

Yes, high compared to what they are but to those that like old tech, the BeBox is a bitch'n one to latch onto.

I am lucky to still have one left.   :)

Wow and to think I paid 675 USD  for my mint 133 (upgaded 66) with all boxes, all docs and all releases of BeOS even bill of sale was included.  Bought mine about 6 years ago.

I sold my 66 for £387 (which today is US$640, but back them was more like US$770 or something in 2007) so I don't feel too bad. I paid about the same and I actually kept back a few items (BeBook, Advanced Topics and the BFS book) and so, I more than broke even. It paid for the bulk of my MacBook (black late 2007 model) and so lives on in usefulness!

Yo Brams, good! Long tome no speak, though you were on Facebook chat earlier so I probably should have said "hi" in realtime!! Hahaha! I was on a train with crud mobile reception though.

I parted with mine reluctantly, but at the time I needed to replace my laptop (old Dell C610 which was falling apart.) My main thing was breaking even, which I did. The buyer is actually a member of this forum, so he might let us know how it is faring?! If it had been a 133, it would still be with me without a doubt! But as I'm tying on the Macbook now, it's worked out pretty good :-)
