Did someone every think to reengineer a NeXT Nitro Board?
Gould it be hard to make one?

Just asking...
And how fast could you make it?

Chris

With Macintoshes' accelerators, this forum content, M68K forum content we have almost all information to recreate one... !
I'm thinking about it

And could we recreate it with a 50mhz part instead of 40? The pyro was a 50mhz part but if I recall did not have extra cache. The nitro was a 40mhz part, but outperformed the 50mhz part in many instances, in part, if I recall, because it added extra cache.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ECJJXFKdR-I this might be a good way to create an accelerator using the pi storm 68k emulator  obviously we need something for the 68030 /040 but it looks like it may be adaptable to NeXTstep and 68k hardware
