Markus has put together quite a collection of UNIX ports for OPENSTEP 4.2/Intel.  His files are available at http://www.mkschmidt.de/packages.html

Markus, is there a reason why porting shell utils to OS4/Intel only? Doesn't they are compile for NS33 and if maybe running under NS33 why not a quad package?

Well, the only system I have up right is a PC running OS 4.2/Intel and therefore I am not able to testdrive the packages on NS 3.3. Plus, I simply don´t know how to quad compile the stuff...

Does anyone have an archive of Markus' ports? His website is down and Wayback Machine doesn't have a working crawl.
I'd really love a nano (or nano-like) CLI editor (amongst other things!)
