Hi everyone..
I have some sad news for me.. but maybe good news for others.
Because of a change in jobs.. I will be changing countries...
Currently I live in Germany, and will be moving back to North America soon. (end of July/begin August)
I have a NeXT Dimension (NTSC) system with a bunch of other NeXT stuff... (Cube, BW and Color 17" Monitors, Laser Printer, A3 Inkjet printer, etc.. etc...) and I am not sure if I will have enough space to pack it up and take it with me.
If there is anyone (seriously) interested in a package deal... I'll post some details...
... otherwise I'll take it with me and see what I can do with it later.
Started to write some details.. but it is 3 AM now.. and I wanted to make the list pretty... with some pics and stuff.. ;-)
if anyone is interested... just post a reply...
ciao..

Hello,
I might be interessted in the cube and/or the laser printer if your willing to separate it (unfortunately, I don't have too much free space for all that stuff), but depends on asking price and your location.
Hi,
If you decide to separate the items I could be interest in one spare 17" NEXT color monitor in good condition. I live in Italy.
Hi again..
I've received some requests for "parts" of the package...
.. which wasn't exactly what I had in mind..
I would really like to sell most of the system together.
Some of the Documentation or the 3.2 box may be sold separately... but not the hardware.
Anyway.. here is a more detailed list.. and I am preparing photos for some of the stuff.
I would like to have someone here (this forum) take the stuff... but will be putting this in eBay shortly if there is no interest.
If anyone is interested... Make an offer!!!
Everything must be gone this week!!!
Thanks for looking...
.. Lee

.. and I didn't put all the other CD's out...
For the HP 715 I have the HP-UX 10.20 cd's as well as NS 3.3 RISC... so it can be used either as a nice file/DB/Web server or as a NeXT workstation..
Lee, I looked, I drooled, I lusted, ugh ugh ugh, I am losing my ability to think, must have, must have, cannot afford, illogical, illogical, my main processing unit is melting down, kernal panic.... :shock:
reboot.......
Ok, I'm back :D
Congratulations on a gorgeous collection! Here is hoping a NeXT afficienado can obtain your equipment!
Regards,
Don
Damn.. I didn't plan on causing so much personal stress amongst the NeXT enthusiasts out there!!!
If YOU are having problems not buying this stuff.. what do you think I'm going thru???
It is 6:20 AM here in Germany.. and I'm carving up my life and scattering the pieces into the eBay winds...
I am less than impressed.. and setting all this stuff up again after the last year of not seeing it... well.. I'm having a hard time keeping focused!!
The "package" is actually being sliced into a few managable bundles... so if you need anything.. let me know.
The major pieces (hardware) will remain together.. but some of the documentation, CD's and books may be separated.

Whow, what a really nice collection! As much as I'd love to own a Dimension Cube (and I live in Germany so I would probably be able to pick it up), I'm afraid I won't be able to afford it... but it would sure be a great addition to the three NeXTs and the Sparcs, PA-RISCs and x86s (as well as some Macs) running NeXTstep, Openstep and OS X here...

I wonder if you could tell me what are the three manuals in front of the color printer (white with black binders)? And what about the two manuals in front of those -- with the black borders and white insets? I don't recognize any of those.
Thanks!
These are the NeXTStep v1.0 reference manuals!!
As far as I can tell.. they are original NeXT publications.

Thanks for the closeup. I don't actually think they are original NeXT, but they might indeed be -- I can't be sure. If only you'd sell those separately ;)
The NeXT community (or at least *I*) would be grateful if you could look at those 5 and give me a list of:
* Title
* Product number (like "N12345")
* Part number (like "12345.01")
* Publication date (like "10/89")
For each of those, if you happen to have time.
Then I can add them to my list if they're not already there:
http://nextstuff.info/db/ByManufacturer/NeXT%20Computer,%20Inc.Actually, now that I look a little closer, I'm not sure what those two white things are just to the right of the color printer and in front of the color inkjet cartridges?
Thanks!
I actually thought about setting these separate.. but in the mad rush.. they stayed bundled.
(can I extricate them from my eBay auction without causing any trouble???)
As for numbers... they all have "Reorder Product #N6007B" written on the copyright page.
The titles and dates are in the post above.. but just for you.. here it is again:
NeXT Printed Documentation (based on v1.0 concepts - 1990)
- NeXTSTEP Concepts
- Operating System Software
- Sound, Music, and Signal Processing: Reference
- Writing Loadable Kernel Servers
- Supplemental Documentation
The white books have a clear plastic cover with a heavy black back, and what appears to be black cloth tape binding, and the black books have the same heavy black cover front and back, with the black cloth tape binding.
Some of the images inside appear as if they were photocopies.. while others are print quality.
I am not really sure who printed these.. but they were done rather well. (it wasn't the work of 'the weekend student')
The binding on one book is a bit loose.. but they are all in great condition.
The white boxes you are referring to are the CD boxes that NeXT used to send me with pre-releases and other operating systems in them.
