Hello all,

I want to startup my turbo but can't go into startup.

The screen stops at the next rom monitor 3.0

When I type bsd -s it displays:  boot sd(0,0,0) -s

How can I continue of did the harddrive just die?

Hi Frans,

do you have any additional SCSI drives attached to the machine, or is your internal harddrive the only one?

Does your harddrive spin up when your NeXT tries to boot from sd(0,0,0)?

Greetings

As I recall you can boot in single mode , i.e. -s option (you end with a command line prompt).
If you want the GUI just do a: bsd without the option

Hope it helped

Do you have another computer on the network which you could set up as a TFTP boot server and try to boot off the network?
