I have a Cube where the SCSI drive inside is starting to take multiple boots to spin up and work.

Therefore time to replace it.

Is there an easy way to make an exact "bootable" clone of the drive so I can just stick it in the Cube and boot from it?

I have all my email and settings just the way I like them and don't want to lose all that hard work.

Thanks

TJ

Hi TJ,

I just replaced my 500 MB Hard Drive with an 4.5 GB one and cloned my system with ease, following the instructions here:

I belive it might apply to the cube as well.

Bye

I used Next Chef's procedure at the link below (see post dec 5, 2006) and it worked perfectly for me.  In fact, I cloned the drive on an 040 Next Station, pulled the newly created drive and plugged it in my 030 cube, and everything came up cleanly.
