I was wondering if anyone had opinions on this? I've noticed this happening on the vintage mac forums, and it makes me wonder if I should consider it. I can understand the draw in that there would be no leakage in the future. It was my understanding however, that if the circuit was not designed for them, you could have a thermal runaway condition that can cause them to explode or catch fire. Thoughts?
