Your HW is ok, but what is your HW ?

Did you try to boot in verbose mode, or single user mode to check the filesystem state ?

I got a turbo cube, all the output from the booting process looks Ok it pasess all the tests, and all the initial processess deifned in inetd, I also checked the HDs settings on fstab and no issues with the HDs

when i boot bsd- s (single user) i can access the comand line, i did run fsck to all file systems,
i had backup of the loginwindow.app, and i did a restoration of the app but it doesn't seems to work

Thanks

does the cube have a NeXTdimension installed in it? happened to me a few times: I booted the turbo dimension with only the MegaPixel Display attached. if the dimension is configured as the main display, I don't see anything on the MegaPixel because the login screen is displayed on the dimension...

ok. then I would pull the dimension for testing. see what happens. if it's still not working: try to login to the cube using telnet. have a look at /private/adm/messages maybe it will reveal something... a successful boot looks like this ->

It sounds like your cube is trying to bind to a NetInfo server. To fix this, you need to login as root. Then run the /NextAdmin/HostManager.app. In the menu, choose "Local..." A panel will open, under NetInfo Binding, choose "Use local domain only" and reboot. I hope this helps.
