Both setups look great!  That poster was one of the things that got me hooked on NeXT.  Still don't have a copy though....someday!  Maybe I'll just setup my gear and take a picture myself in landscape mode.  LOL!

Thanks for sharing!

Nice. You know, it might've been SloMacuser that was trying to get me to take mine (an original) out of frame and scan it. I always meant to get around to it, but I never did. :-) Also, it's dry mounted to foam board, so that would possibly make scanning difficult.

That is indeed quite a system. I haven't used mine in some time, and I think a big part of it is the dim, relatively hazy 21" NeXT color display. I have recently been using my Gecko with a proper LCD and the display is so crisp and clean. I need to get a LCD on that slab. How have you handled the cabling -- some adapter?

The printer is a nice touch. Does it function?

I was looking for the poster for over 5 years, and I recall contacting many of the member here, including you.

at the end I got the Cube Broshure and I scanned and worked with SloMacUser and he did the magic!!!, great guy!!

all works like a charm :), I need to change the tonner soon, alos I have my cube setup on the local LAN and I have a samba share to my local NAS, (500 GB spare for teh cube alone) is too much I know,

Thank you

Nice.

How often do you use it? What do you do with it?

Wonderful setup!
Loved the NeXT logo on the modern LCD monitor and the Sun 411 external SCSI cabinet!

Where can one get a NeXT video connector (slab) to VGA converter? I know a Sync On Green screen would be required, etc.

Any source? Thanks.

I am using the SUN 530-2917-01 VGA to 13W3 adapter cable with my TurboColor and a NEC LCD and it works beautifully.  It is about 12" long, plugs into the monitor VGA receptacle and the NeXT Y-cable plugs into the 13W3 SUN adapter.  The only remaining little thing that would make it 100% perfect is change in colour from SUN grey to NeXT black.

Thanks, I just grabbed one NIB off eBay for $9. Now I need to find a home for my NeXT 21" color CRT. I don't want it taking up space any longer.

I picked up some adapters from monoprice or Amazon for a system in the past that worked.  I think it required two adapters, a 13w3 to vga and a vga gender changer.

Here is a thread that talks about it and has some pics of one from ebay.
