Hi, all.  Does anyone have a NeXTSTEP 3.0 boot floppy?  I have one, but I don't currently have a way to image it.  I am hoping to get it imaged this weekend, and I hope it's still good.  But if someone else has it imaged already, perhaps it could be uploaded... Anyone?

Thanks, Mike.  That floppy image is good, but interestingly enough it is not a boot disk.  It has UpgradePrep.app on it, and that's it.  It seems that you needed a working 2.x system on which to run it.  I'm still working on getting it installed.

oops, I didn't know that. but then again, the label "NeXT CD-ROM TOOLS Release 3.0" made me a bit suspicous to be honest. I have never installed 3.0.

I noticed that on my copy of the disk too.  My guess is that it installs CD-ROM drivers into NS2.x, and that the 3.0 CD is just an upgrade CD with an Upgrader.app.  I'm going to go ahead and install the tools into my NS2 instance and see if it can then read that CD.  Maybe it's in some nonstandard format that only their driver can read.
