Hi All --
If anyone is looking to unload a NeXT in the UK or Europe, please drop me a line. Specifically, I'm looking either for an 040 Cube, Dimension Cube, or Turbo Colour. I would prefer a complete working unit.
Rob, if I don't find something on this side of the pond, it's very likely that I'll come to Blackhole. It's just that the shipping (especially for the monitors) is outrageously expensive.
Kind regards,
travis

Hello Travis: I can't do anything about shipping (wish I could) it is a fixed cost USPS is probably going to be the cheapest. I use their international caculator though it often varies from the post office price it is close enough monitors are around $200 and cubes are around $175 , it depends on the weight and dimensions. Here is where you can get a ball park estimate
http://postcalc.usps.com/. If I don't have packaging or recycled packing materials on hand , I'll go and buy a sturdy box , bubble wrap and those blasted peanuts which runs about ~$10 to $15. Everyone at the post office knows me by name as I'm there a few times a week . I find it easier just to drop packages off at the post office, main UPS or FEDEX hub directly as it saves having to anticipate when they will arrive for pickups and it is one less truck to be loaded and unloaded from . If anyone contacts me from your side of the pond selling equipment I'll forward your info with their permission , I've set up quite a few sales this way as well. If it pans out I've even received commissions at any rate enjoying the business! Best Regards Rob Blessin
I think the very cheapest is international shipping via EBay auction, but then you have to deal with their fees etc. I find is astounding how much shipping in the US costs relative to somewhere like, say, Japan.
