Title: For Sale - Starting Point Kit -NEW - Never used
Post by: MJ-GO on June 08, 2014, 02:42:47 PM
I have a Starting Point Kit ... NEW, never used .... very pristine...
The mouse has never been out of the plastic bag...
...only defects are one of the brochures (the here's how) has a crease across one corner, and of course the outside of the box is "aged'...

I would like to offer it to the NeXT community before putting it on eBay...

PM me your *best* offer if you're interested... I have a price in mind... if I get that in the next 2 weeks ...Great!! Otherwise it will get offered up to the rabble on eBay.

Here are some pix... send me any questions...

Thanks
—Michael

Title: new starter kit

I successfully bid on a similar kit on ebay a year ago for about $250, I think I got a good deal though.  At first I was hesitant to open, everything was sealed and brand new.

Thinking further, I felt I want to enjoy the hardware, so I opened the kit and use it with my cube.  I have a dust cover on the keyboard, and when I remove the cover, the 'new' smell is very much present.  It is a joy to use a brand new keyboard and mouse.  The manuals remain shrink wrapped.

For anyone who wants to connect with the hardware as it was, new, this is a nice addition.  Not sure how much its worth, but it was worth $250 to me.

One difference - My keyboard on/off switch still has an original paper cover accepting license once torn, I don't see that on this picture.  I left the paper sticker/cover on, as the cube can be powered up/down by pressing on the paper cover itself.
