My Turbo slab has a dead battery - surprise. What should I use to replace it? Is there much leakage issue with the default slab battery? I don't hear people talking about that.

Thanks.

I bought the original Panasonic BR-2/3A, because I am a stickler for details.  I got mine from DigiKey.  At the moment they seem to have zero stock, but if you put in an order they will give you a lead time...  Their part number is P133-ND.

They have in stock the same battery with solder tabs, P/N P201-ND, but you would have to do a bit of a surgery to make it fit.

I have not heard of these leaking, but I know from the Tadiran lithiums on the old m68k mac boxes that they can leak...
